1. Measurement

First, accurately measure the window size. Measure the width and height of the window, and consider factors such as the type of curtain installation (inside or outside the window frame) and the desired fullness of the curtain. These

measurements are crucial as they directly determine the size and quantity of fabric needed.

2. Fabric Selection

Based on the measurement results and the overall home decoration style, select the appropriate fabric. Consider the fabric's texture, color, thickness, and light - blocking performance. For example, if you want a more private and dark room, choose thick, dark - colored fabrics with good light - blocking properties; for a bright and airy space, light - colored and thin fabrics may be more suitable.

3. Cutting

After fabric selection, lay the fabric flat on a clean workbench. Use a ruler and chalk to mark the cutting lines according to the measured size, leaving some extra fabric for seams and hems. Then, use sharp scissors or a cutting machine to carefully cut the fabric along the marked lines. Ensure the cutting edges are smooth and straight to avoid unevenness in the final curtain product.
